The Village of Mt. Orab Fire Department provides both fire protection and emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of the Village of Mt. Orab and surrounding area.  Our contracted coverage territory spans over 115 square miles in rural Brown County, Ohio and encompasses over 16,000 citizens.  On average our department responds to 2,200 emergency calls each year throughout the Village of Mt. Orab; Green Township; Pike Township; Sterling Township; and the northern part of Scott Township in Brown County, Ohio.

The Village of Mt. Orab Fire Department is dedicated to the protection of life, property, and the environment. This is accomplished by following a comprehensive emergency service response program that utilizes a highly trained work force, progressive technology, and modern equipment.

Fire Division

The Fire Division is responsible for handling all emergencies within the Village of Mt. Orab, Green Township, Sterling Township, Pike Township, Parts of Scott Twp.

EMS Division

The Village of Mt. Orab Fire Department provides Paramedic Services 24 hours a day 365 days a year to the citizens of Mt. Orab, Green Twp, Sterling Twp, Pike Twp, Scott Twp. 125 sq. miles of territory. Each Ambulance carries the most up to date equipment and technology available to assure our Paramedics and EMT's have the tools to provide the best care available, and that we fulfill our mission.
