The Village of Mt. Orab Finance Department is committed to responsible stewardship
of public funds, transparency in financial reporting, and accountability to the residents we serve.
As Chief Fiscal Officer, I believe the Village's finances should be managed with integrity, accuracy, and careful oversight. Just as importantly, residents should have access to clear information about the Village's financial position and how public resources are being used.
The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining the Village's financial records, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, debt, financial reporting, and compliance with applicable state and federal requirements.
My goal is to continually strengthen the Village's financial processes and internal controls while providing Mayor, Council, Village departments, and the public with accurate and timely financial information. Sound financial management is not simply about balancing numbers, it is about protecting public resources and helping ensure the long-term financial health of our community.
As we continue developing this page, residents will be able to access financial reports, budgets, audit information, and other resources intended to make the Village's finances easier to understand.
